How to sanitise wooden toys

It is very natural for babies and children to put toys in their mouths – in fact, babies do this as a way of experiencing sensations as the feeling inside their mouths is far more developed than their hands.

Of course this means that keeping toys, including wooden toys needs to be a considered priority. Even though wooden toys are a natural product, they are also porous – it is best to avoid submerging wooden toys, simply wiping them with a wet cloth and mild detergent is an effective way to clean wooden toys – if sanitisation is required, diluted apple cider vinegar in water, wiped over each wooden toy surface and allowed to air dry, will ensure surfaces are germ free.
